Oddballs. Rebels. Misfits.
As a screenwriter, I tell stories about people who don’t fit in.
Prior credits include material for Last Swim, which won the Crystal Bear at Berlinale, and Play the Game, which won Best International Short at Kinsale Sharks and was part of the official selection at Pristina International Film Festival.
At its core, my work is about human beings overcoming their limitations and contradictions to find meaning in an unpredictable world.
I’m currently developing two new projects:
Headache, a comedy-drama about addiction, mental illness, and the macabre dance they have with the pursuit of pleasure, set in Berlin’s hedonistic party scene.
Persian Rave, an action-thriller about two young lovers in Iran who defy the regime by throwing the biggest underground rave the country has ever seen.
